Thank you for the video! When using a regular heat press do you still suggest 385°F @ 40sec? What kind of pressure? When using the Chalk paint in the back, do you seal it w/anything? Keychains take a lot of abuse & I feel like the paint would scratch. I don't do resin.

Thank you for the video with all the different methods! I have made keychains, but I used HTV and UV resin. I'm getting away from resin though. I'm wondering, you don't have to seal that paint at all? It won't get scratched up and come off? Also, I don't understand the point of using the laminate. Sublimation shouldn't scratch or rub off, so what's the benefit? Thank you!!!!

Chrystal, can you tell me the advantages/disadvantages of direct sublimation on the acrylic blank vs using DTF OR FILM ?.
Great video! Can one use white (NOT clear) acrylic?
To pass your DTF through the printer I make sure that I have printer paper behind it and it goes though no problem. I don't have to change any settings. I am using ET-2800 Epson.

Not Glowforge for $3k-5k, I got a K40 40W CO2 Laser Engraver Cutter for 1/20 the price and it works just as good… and I can use LightBurn not Glowforge’s proprietary software… #keychain…

I want to do the glass cutting boards. What temp and time if I'm using the UV laminate?
Well after melting a few discs I decided to check the real temperature of my hear press. Seems it is way hotter than the settings claim! Let's hope next one turns out after dropping the temp somewhat.

My Epson ECOTANK 2720 didn’t have any trouble printing on the DTF PET I set the settings on glossy without having to add any paper to the DTF.

I've been trying DTF hack on acrylic, but I had a problem that the powder that is around the cut stiks and the result isn't clean... I tried cleaning it with alcohol but it was a fail. I'm interested if you have a clue for this problem. Thanks from Tunisia

Yes! 😊 You'll just want to make sure there is no steam.
I think these techniques are all very helpful. However, I don't understand why you would choose to do all the steps for laminate or dtf if straight sublimation to acrylic works. I think I would choose to use the dtf for fabric and laminate for things like glass or wood. Each one seems to have a substrate that they solve a problem for.

Does the thickness of the keychain matter? My keychain is very thin. Also, when I drop it in the water, it comes out with air bubbles.
No it's whichever thickness you like. Do you get bubbles under vinyl? - Agata

You said cannot use inkjet printer. With DTF. Is this only for the key. Chains? Because people are. Using inkjets and DTF and the powder for fabrics.

Sooo I try the DTF hack, but i ALWAYS have the pizza wheels show up from printing. HOW do i avoid them??
